Coming soon: RAW ELEMENTS Eco Protection Sunscreen™

RAW ELEMENTS PHYSICAL ECO PROTECTION SUNSCREEN™, was created by Brian Guadagno, a sixteen year ocean lifeguard captain, who became dissatisfied with the effects and performance of commercial, chemical sunscreens. It is this experience and knowledge in the field which drives the core mission.  RAW ELEMENTS™ proven performance has gained major attention and support of technical advisor Chris Vaughan, leading international sunscreen authority and spokesman Garrett Mcnamara, extreme waterman and four time big wave world champion.

Garrett ‘GMAC’ Mcnamara is the four time big wave world champion, considered one of the

most extreme athletes on the planet and is a citizen of the world. Most recently GMAC become

the first human to surf tsunami waves in Alaska formed by giant melting glacier chunks. The

goal of this life threatening mission was to bring awareness global warming and an HD feature

presentation on his journey is being released this spring internationally. Garret has been

protected by RAW ELEMENTS™ formulas all over the world in places and conditions other

human beings can not survive.

PRODUCT LINE

Raw Elements is poised to introduce in the initial launch, our two cornerstone performance products,

ECO FORMULA 30+ & ECO STICK 30+. These two products are completed, manufactured and package

filled. With a five year plan projection, Raw Elements has already developed a complete line for seasonal

introduction. These additional products have been identified and formulated to include, but are not limited

to: Extreme Elements Sunscreen line, Raw Elements Lip Block, Organic lip balms, Nourishing Elements

After Sun Body Butter, After Sun Body Stick, Organic Body and Face Liquid Soap.

Utilizing  RAW ELEMENTS™ revolutionary ORGANIC ECO-SHIELD PERFORMANCE TECHNOLOGY™

and leveraging the power behind the brand’s market diversity, the conscious consumer will finally have a

complete option. This unique technology gives  RAW ELEMENTS™ the ability to offer a product line

unlike anything else on the shelf. The result is a versatile, high performance sunscreen that exceeds the

demands of the extreme, yet is gentle enough for infant care, all delivered in an eco-safe, reef safe,

chemical free solution.

Protection & Performance

RAW ELEMENTS™ proprietary ORGANIC ECO-SHIELD PERFORMANCE TECHNOLOGY™ is the

foundation for superior Physical, Chemical Free, UVA & UVB protection. This protection is supported by

the ability to perform and resist under the most demanding environmental conditions. True Balanced

Broad Spectrum (UVA & UVB) sun protection is what the consumer needs to be safe from cancer causing

rays. Where the FDA currently requires as little as only 5% UVA protection and has no regulation

standards there,  RAW ELEMENTS™ willingly lies ahead of the curve. Our formulas successfully block

97% of UVB Rays (spf 30+), over 95% of UVA Rays to 390 nanometers and over 92% at extreme UVA

400 nanometers - a feat virtually unheard of. Our formulas have achieved the maximum FDA standard

of “Very Water Resistant” maintaining efficacy after eighty minutes submersed under water. Going a step

further, we have demonstrated our formulas’ ability to perform after submersion of beyond 180 minutes.

This, is truly Performance Driven, Balanced Broad Spectrum Protection. Furthermore, ORGANIC ECOSHIELD

PERFORMANCE TECHNOLOGY™ utilizes physical protection as opposed to commonly used

chemical UV absorbers which tend to break down quickly and release free radicals into the skin. Our

proprietary formulas are packed with all natural & certified organic ingredients, free of preservatives,

fragrances, parabens, hormone disrupters and titanium dioxide.

Active Ingredient: Zinc Oxide 23%

Natural Ingredients: Organic Sunflower Oil, Organic Green Tea, Organic Black Tea, Organic Hemp Seed

Oil, Organic Cocoa Butter, All Natural Mango Butter, Organic Beeswax, All Natural Rosemary Oil Extract,

All Natural Vitamin E

***All Ingredients Marked Organic Are USDA Certified Organic

TESTIMONIALS

I couldn't be happier to use the Raw Elements sun screen. It’s by far the cleanest product I've

ever used. It’s not greasy in any way and fully waterproof, which makes it perfect for any water

sport. I'm stoked to be riding for a company that’s dedicated to full and chem free protection! It’s

one less thing to worry about while I'm on the water.” After using Raw Elements, I can't

imagine going back to any other brand!

-Marco Bava, Professional Kite Surfer

“No matter where I'm surfing in the world, I can count on raw elements to protect me from the

sun's harsh rays. When I leave the house I grab my board and my raw elements sunblock stick,

and I know I'm covered.”

-Scott Posner, Pro Surfer

Pancakes and booze: LA art show

Friend of slyde kaxs custom art will be showing some of his amazing art at the Los Angeles venue of Pancakes and booze.  Established in May of 2009, The Pancakes & Booze Art Show has been sweeping the nation with a whirlwind of emergering and undergound artists! Shows now in Los Angeles, San Francisco, Nashville, Minneapolis, Atlanta, & Denver!

I you like me was wondering Why the pancakes and booze!? so i did some investigation and found this buried in an sf gate cronicle article Tom Kirlin, creator and coordinator of "Pancakes and Booze." Two years ago, Kirlin was feeling burned out from long hours as a cameraman for TV and film productions when he found an idea that worked. Pancakes have always been a part of his life. His dad used to make them every Sunday morning. IHOP was always the first place he went after raucous nights of college drinking. He started the two-night art show in Los Angeles and soon took it on the road. He's now flipped pancakes for the masses in at least six cities around the country, including Nashville, Minneapolis and, of course, San Francisco. "Pancakes really have nothing to do with the artwork. It's just two things that I love," said Kirlin.

so there you go if you didnt know about this event now you do It sound ssick so get you asses down there asap!

3 Best places to eat in Venice Beach

Welo_1feature

This caught my eye not because of the food,  although we agree with the findings!  All these are amazing places to eat. but we like it because the author epitomizes the Venice spirit and we love the fact that this is how we get around Venice. Like I've said before I don't even own a car and if you read Laura's Venice bio you get to see why! and that's also why we like the places she has chosen they are easy to get to not to mention delicious

Laura is a lover of all things Westside. As a bike commuter, she is naturally limited to finding everything you need west of Lincoln - and is perfectly happy with that. Laura can almost always be found somewhere between the Farmer's Market and Hinano/Whaler/Baja/Waterfront on any given Sunday.

here are her favorite places to eat you'll have to read the rest of the article to see which dishes she loves most

    1. Larry’s Venice Beach

    2. Mao’s Kitchen

    3. China Beach

paul mascatelli at sacred craft "OCTOBER 9-10"

As most of you know Slyde will be at the Sacred Craft Expo  on the 8th to 9th of october. But what most of you will not know is that our resident artistPaul Mascatelli will be there too doing what he does best donning his hoodie and drawing like demon. We will have to put him in cage because he does bite other than that he's a pretty nice guy. So come down to san diego for the Expo and beer and check out our booth and say Hi! Also a side note keep an eye out for his art work on a certain "search" engines logo in the near future but hush hush you didnt hear it from us. This is how good his art work really is. We realise you probably only seen it online but it is another thing to see him doing it so we suggest you do so. We will have all his other art on display there too.
