The Wavehouse Presents: Straight Outta Wompton

Straight Outta Wompton bodysurfing handplane Wavehouse San DiegoURT and Team Blacksheep are teaming up to bring us Straight Outta Wompton, the first bodysurfing contest ever at the Wavehouse in Mission Beach, San Diego.  What makes this competition at the Wavehouse so special, you ask?  The contest is going to be held on one of the Wavehouse Athletic Club's awesome artificial wave machines.  Guaranteed overhead shred!  Slyde Handboards designed a special "Straight Outta Wompton" handboard for the Wavehouse winner, and it turned out sick!

The competition starts at 4pm on Friday, December 13th.  Slyde's team ryder Zach Zeiger will be participating, so keep an eye out for Zach at the Wavehouse and watch for him getting barreled!  Unfortunately, Zach won't be able to use his Slyde handboard, as not handplanes are allowed.

Entries are already closed, as the event sold out just one month after it was announced.  Don't worry, you can still cruise over to the Wavehouse in Mission Beach and watch the competition for free!  There's not cover charge!  You can also check out a live stream from the Wavehouse here.  Check out the Wavehouse's awesome trailer for Straight Outta Wompton below!
