Slyde handboards build it your own foam blank handplane

Hi guys, a quick update!  We just added another really awesome Kickstarter reward. As you can see it is a genuine Slyde Blank CnC shaped to perfection by the Guys over at Marko foam.  This blank is Made from completely recycled post consumer polystyrene waste from packaging etc.  If you feel like you want to give making your own handboard a whirl, we have answered the call. Anybody who has given this a go will know it's no easy task and the hardest part is getting that shape just right symmetrical and just how you want it.

I have personally gone through enough frustrating mishaps while shaping boards, finally finish it just to realize one side is way off, or it flies across the room while you are trying to get those finishing touches just right.  Frustrating to say the least, so we have taken a bit of the hard yards out of the equation.

What you get : Finish out the rough blank and then glass it.  We include what's  in the image official adustable slyde handstrap scre inserts and glass enough to get you pitted.   We will even throw in some sweet decals with whatever you want on rice paper so you board is just yours and your alone.  Perfect for the DIY or a present!!

Feel free to share with anyone you know who might be stoked to give it a go

If you want this check it out on our Kickstarter
