Ode to Simplicity

1 min read

South African carpenter, artist and Wawa Wooden Surfboards shaper Andrew Strode stars in a new documentary where he talks about wood as his favorite raw material for building boards, bodysurfing and his blind dog, Lutea, that is addicted to water. Strode discusses how simplicity plays an important role in his life in Muizenberg, South Africa. So lay back, put up your feet and check out this video to learn how you can incorporate more simplicity in your life!

About Wawa Wooden Surfboards

Wawa Wooden Surfboards is an anachronistic little wooden surfboard company where quality, respect for your roots and a belief in the sanctity of nature are cornerstones. The wooden surfboards are inspired by the intuited hydrodynamic genius of the ancient Hawaiian board builders. Handcrafted and green, Wawa boards allow for a wave sliding experience that, until recently, lay buried in the dust of museums. The boards offer a surfing experience of profound purity and unbridled, utterly gratuitous fun.
