Dubai is host to many excellent beaches to enjoy with your friends and family.

After all, there's nothing you can compare to enjoying the breeze and relaxing on the beach.  The natural breezes, the warm sand, and looking at the ocean is an experience like no other.

If you find yourself traveling to this modern city, change it up and escape to these 5 EPIC beaches.

Jumeirah Beach

Jumeirah beach is the first on the list for good reason; it's open to the public, one of the oldest in the city, and family friendly. The beach is about 3 km long, and is separated into two areas. One for  swimming/bodysurfing, and the other one is for water sports/surfing. The water is immaculate and well maintained to ensure that the beach remains the favorite in the city.

Kite Beach

This beach got its name from those kitesurfing parachutes. It is one of the best in the city for watersports lovers and those who love adventure. If you like to engage in kitesurfing, paddleboarding, wakeboarding, handboarding then the kite beach is the right place to be.  The beach offers a lot of things to ensure you feel safe at home with the best food. Apart from getting into the water, you also have access to the jogging track which runs along the beach which is about 14 km.

Mercato Beach

Only the locals know about this beach in Dubai. You can barely find any expat or tourists at this beach. It isn’t as though it isn’t a good beach, but it is hidden. The fact it is not known to many makes it apeaceful beach to be.  If you are the types that love the private lifestyle and doesn’t want people to disturb while having a lovely time, the Mercato beach is your best option. The beach is peaceful with beautiful places to rest and relax. Need a good book for the beach, the public library is close by. As well as the Mercato Mall, where you shop for cutting edge lifestyle brands.

Burj Al Arab Beach

Most people that visit Dubai want to have a view of this place and the best place to get that is by heading to its beach, which is very close by. From there you'll find yourself in one of the most Instagram worthy photo opts.  The beach is welcoming as it is safe to be and pleasing to spend the time to rest and relax.

Umm Suqeim Beach

The last beach for bodysurfing and hanboarding to discuss is the Umm Suqeim Beach. It is a well-known beach for its sunset and picturesque views. It is one of the beaches in Dubai that is floodlit for night time bodysurfing.

The leash works amazing i won't go out without my leash on....

Bula hand board

This handboard is exactly what I was looking for. The size and craftsmanship is fantastic! I have gotten some great rides with this board. Super fun.

Ready for the Senior Tour

I received my Slyde Phish just before 2 weeks of gloomy weather. Now that I’ve had a chance to road test it, I can’t wait to get back in the water.

Growing up in Long Island NY, body surfing was my first wave gliding experience. Typically we would drive straight to shore so surfing the diagonal has been a learning curve.

I look forward to many great sets this summer.

So much fun!

These little boards are amazing! We bought a couple to bring with us to Hawaii and had a blast.. super easy to travel with, just fit right in my backpack. Made riding the waves so much fun and worked just as good as a full sized boogie board one of my friends had. Highly recommended. Can’t wait to try it out again!

Love my Bula!

I recently been spending a lot of time on the North Shore of Oahu, and there’s nothing better than the Bula for bigger more intense surf. Too much fun brah! Mahalo nui loa!
