Social Media is something we love to love and love to hate.

It’s an incredible way to connect with all of our customers, fans, and friends. It’s also constantly changing and can be extremely frustrating- especially as more and more platforms show their selfies (faces) and find their way on to our phone’s memory space.

Steve founder of Slyde, felt this frustration a couple of days ago when trying to figure out what is quickly becoming the most popular and hip platform out in that digital world: Snapchat

Now the best way to handle these frustrations of anger and resentment is not by reflecting on a time before the kardashians were famous, where you walked a mile in the snow to school and back home, and the waves were less crowded, but by asking the experts.

The experts being the people who use it most, Millennials, this is a range of 20 something year old’s and younger. (Content of the Snaps changes but the gist stays the same.)

Luckily we have one of those in office, who could help explain the how to’s of selfies, geotags, and lenses that are what makes Snapchat way more fun than your average photo sharing platform. Not to mention that there's a time frame of how long you can see it- a similar feeling you get to chasing the perfect wave or getting the last rays of summer sun- it only lasts so long.

For those of you who don’t have an on hand “Millennial Expert Snapper” on hand go to the root withCEO Evan Spiegel advice in this video:

And when you finally figure it out and get on Snapchat, or if you're already the pro make sure you add us!

We won’t send nudes but we will send you photos of Steve, Cowboy, and exclusive Slyde Stoke Announcements. @Slydehandboards
