Slyde handboards rescue in rio dijenero

Joey Cusano "I was in Rio de Janeiro at the beach and the current was way stronger than anything I've ever been in, so I got myself into a bit of trouble and was close to drowning, when at the last second I reached my hand above water and just so happened to catch the wave right, and the Slydeboard brought me all the way in and saved my life."

Although Slyde handboards are not personal floatation devices this isn't the 1st story we've heard of a life saving Slyde moment.  Flashback to September 2013 in Hawaii when Daren Jenner brought a snorkeler in danger safe to shore.

The heroic rescue was caught on Daren's GoPro attached to his Slyde Handboardand  featured on "Inside Edition"  watch the clip here>
