Night Sesh 9 Outdoor Movie Night Feat. Bunyip Dreaming and Sons of Fun

Our good friend, and stocker of Slyde Handboards, ZJ Boarding House, is once again holding one of its famous Night Sesh Movie Nights at the California Heritage Museum.

Celebrating one year of Night Sesh, we’re dusting off the projector and reaching way back to the early nineties for some VHS surf action. Join us on the lawn of the California Heritage Museum, across the street from ZJ Boarding House, for a double feature of Jack McCoy‘s ‘Sons of Fun’ and ‘Bunyip Dreaming’: both Billabong films.‘Bunyip Dreaming’ goes deep into the tropics with great surfers and hilarious fantasy sequences. It’s also strong on Hawaii, Australia and Indonesia.  An Australian surfing odyssey, from the perfect walls at Kirra, to board-snapping barrels at The Box on the west coast. One of the best films from the early 90′s! It features music from INXS, Concrete Blonde, Yothu Yindi, The Woodentops, Not Drowning – Waving and Schnell Fenster. Check out this segment from the video.
