Grant Schofield Fiji trip update

The first images of the great Grant Schofield's Fiji trip are starting to trickle in. We will have a short video up as soon as we get the footage for that. As Grant was saying, it was an amazing week with amazing surf! We also feel his sentiments on the board are just spot on!

"The difference your board made was amazing; they really can be the difference between the wave of the session or just another close-out."

Let's think about it: Travel all the way to Fiji with anything but the best, and it’s just not going to cut it! Also, handplaning, bodysurfing or handboarding a reef break has a different set of rules. You need the speed to get out of the way or you are going to be eating coral. With breaks like razors and lacerations, it’s more than likely you will come off second best! Below are some shots from the engine room. Where else would you want to be?

Growing up in South Africa, Steve spent his youth dreaming of far off places. After spending eight years extensively traveling to many of the great surf destinations of the world getting dengue fever, having a near death experience from a falling coconut in mexico, Surviving a 15 foot drop on a handboard on a Nias bomb, jumping from every rock he could find without adequate health insurance. and comprehensively debunking the myth there are no waves in Thailand, even if they are small. He decided it was time for a a degree. Steve Graduated from Central Saint Martins School of Art and Design in London with a degree in product design. He missed his graduation to go surfing in Californian, found a kindred spirit with Venice and never left
