The ingredients to a great Kickstarter video starts with launching a great product, and having the best team around to support.

It's far to note all great videos also have excellent scripts.

Below is the script Steve & Angela of Slyde Handboards thoughtfully wrote prior to filming their Kickstarter campaign video, followed by the full length video.

Steve: Have you ever tried to carry a whole bunch of stuff down to the beach?
Well, those days are over my friend. Hey guys, my name is Steve Watts.

Angela: My name is Angela Watts. We're the co-owners of Slyde Handboard.

Steve: We are based here in San Clemente, CA.

Angela: Slyde Handboards are a miniature surf board that goes on your hand. Giving you extra planing surface when you're body surfing, so you get more speed and lift while riding the wave, giving you the ultimate surfing experience.

Steve: It really started simply because I was having fun on these boards. It almost kind of felt selfish that we were kind of keeping it all to ourselves.

Angela: Slyde Handboards has created this amazing community of ambassadors all over the world, that are like-minded individuals, that love the ocean, love handboarding, and want to spread the sport everywhere. We were lucky enough to be in Shark Tank and get investment from Mark Cuban and Ashton Kutcher.

Steve: Shark Tank provided us the ability to be able to bring these beautiful boards to you.

Angela: They have actually helped us bring our high-end products to where they are today.

Steve: They are shaped by surfers for surfers, and they're incredible. The only problem is, they take a lot of money, and they cost a lot of money.

Angela: The biggest feedback we've gotten from our customers in the past is they have one board and they share it with their whole family. They need something for a lower cost that they can get one for each person in their family. And then when their friends, their kids' friends come, then they have one for them too.

Steve: We wanted to be able to bring a board that represented, as far as quality and price, a great product for the beginner board, for the beginner rider.

Angela: So now, this is the answer to that. And, you guys asked for it, and we're bringing it for you.

Steve: We've figured out a way to be able to make a board that we can do at a price point that anybody can get involved in. And, we put absolutely everything into this.

It's great for a beginner, as well as it's great for somebody who actually maybe doesn't have as much money to get the performance board, but also likes to ride the bigger stuff. Because you know that this, if you hit your head on this, it's not going to hurt.

I see people walking down to the beach sometimes with more stuff than I can possibly fathom. This fits in your backpack. It literally fits in your carry-on.

Angela: We have already invested all of the company's savings into the molds for this, and now we need your help to pay for the first production round to bring these to life. Help us now, and go support us.

Steve: I know that this is going to make you so stoked.

Steve: Go down there and share. Share this video so that all your friends can check it out.

Angela: Get your Handboard pre-ordered. Be the first to have a Slyde Grom Handboard.

Together: The Grom Board is as fun as it is affordable!
