SLYDE SUMMER TOUR 2018 UN-OFFICIAL LINEUP
May 19th Pernambucana Brazil: The Crew @bodysurfpernambuco are hosting the 1st Bodysurfing and Handboarding contest at this epic Brazilian location called Coroa Pernambucana or Crown Pernambucana.
May 26th San Diego, CA: Slyde Handboards kicks off summer 2018 with our annual Barrel Fest meet up at Scripps Pier in La Jolla, California. Come out for a fun beach day to share some waves and stoke. All are welcome.
June 22- 24th Whomp Camp: Treachery Campsite. Seal Rocks Australia "Whomp Camp isn’t an official or organized event. There is no competition, no reservations and no tickets. We are going camping and you can come too but you attend and participate at your own risk, full of body whomping."
June 23rd San Clemente California: SlydeFest Charity Handboarding Competition returns this time at San Clemente Pier. Watch over 50 competitors compete for the Slyde Crown of stoke. Various entertainment and raffle prizes will happen from 9am-4pm. All proceeds will going to support A Walk on Water.
July 7th Misquamicut Beach Rhode Island: Slyde Handboard's Steve, Ang & Venice are coming to Rhode Island, and we promise to show you a good time! It's the perfect time to check out handboards first hand, take them for a Slyde and of course eat, drink, and be merry. Be sure to bring your bathing suit and smile!
Aug 18-19th Oceanside California: Since 1977 Oceanside Pier has put it's name on the map for major bodysurfing competitions. Over 300 bodysurfers both locally and globally descend on the city by the beach for 2 days for off competition.
August Huntington Beach: 2018 will mark the 11th Anniversary of Chubasco's Bodysurfingand Handboarding competition in Huntington Beach. The official event date has not been released yet, but stay tuned for an epic day.
Sept 22nd & 23rd: Fistral Beach, Newquay UK: This event (sponsored by DMC Fins) is open to UK bodysurfers as well as bodysurfers from all around the world. This years event will feature two contests, one for those with handboards, one without. There will be 24 contestants in each contest, with both events open to male and female competitors.
