Humble Beginnings

Slyde Handboards started from humble beginnings in a Venice Beach garage, with a nonexistent marketing budget.

Fortunately in 2012 at a time when most businesses and corporations were still questioning the value of social media,  Slyde viewed social media as a low cost marketing opportunity worth investing in.

Now 4years later, we're happy to say it's one of the best choices we've made.  
Slyde has a thriving, engaged, and stoked community of people (like yourself), consistent streams of content, and an online presence we're proud of.

Needless to say this didn't happen over night and there were a lot of lessons along the way.

I've recently been interviewed for "expert" advice tips by a variety of publications.

1. To have a variety of content, from photos to videos, to blogs.
2. To be engaging. If you want more engagement be more engaging with others.  Comment and “like” other brands & individuals content.

Through various content testing and analysis at Slyde Handboards we discovered that people engage with content differently. Some prefer written, while others would rather watch a video. It’s essential to build out content for a variety of user experiences.
In regards to engaging with others, commenting and “liking” consumers posts makes them feel seen & heard and a part of a community. It makes them more likely to actively be a part of your Brands Conversation.” Slyde Handboards

#14 Using Facebook Store: "Facebook has been critical for growing & managing our E-commerce business.
