Slyde Hosts 1st Annual Handboard Competition in San Clemente California

Slyde Handboards is stoked to announce their 1st Handboard competition.

Powered by Kaha Nalu Hawaii, the competition will take place on Saturday June 24, 2017 on their home turf of San Clemente, California.  All proceeds from the event will be going to A Walk on Water,  Surf therapy through guided surf instruction for people with special needs.

The specific location is North Beachcalled “Pico” by locals because it is at the end of Avenida Pico in front of the Ole Hanson Beach Club.   Offering the widest stretch of beach in along the SC coastline, and a fun handboarding break.

"We've sponsored a variety of bodysurfing and handboarding events for the past few years, but this is our first time hosting our own.  We've heard some much positive feedback about the idea of Slyde Handboards event,  and we couldn't think of a better cause than A Walk on Water to share the stoke with."

Save the Date: Saturday June 24th, 2017
