Surf Bunker is a legendary crew of everyday surfers from all corners of the world.

Founded in Portugal in 2015, Surf Bunkers core vision is a simple one,  we want to connect surfers who want boards to surfers who have boards on a global level.

Steve & Ang had the pleasure of chatting with the Co-founder James.

"Slyde in the Shark's Tank"

"We don’t see much TV, here at the Bunker. We spend too much time either looking at surfboards, mopping up drool from looking at surfboards or occasionally surfing surfboards."

James interviewers from a surfers point of view, while hammering away with some purely business questions.

One of my favorite questions asked was:

SB: You did not seem that nervous but I bet you where, what was going through your head for the moments before you went on?

Steve & Ang: Oh my gosh, we were so nervous! For the months leading up to the show, I (Angela) watched nearly every Shark Tank episode to prepare for any question possible. We studied like you would for a final exam. We did feel very prepared, but you really don't know what to expect until you are out there. Our hearts were racing before the doors opened, but in our heads we knew that it was an opportunity of a lifetime and we would not screw it up.

Hand slyde

The leash works amazing i won't go out without my leash on....

Bula hand board

This handboard is exactly what I was looking for. The size and craftsmanship is fantastic! I have gotten some great rides with this board. Super fun.

Ready for the Senior Tour

I received my Slyde Phish just before 2 weeks of gloomy weather. Now that I’ve had a chance to road test it, I can’t wait to get back in the water.

Growing up in Long Island NY, body surfing was my first wave gliding experience. Typically we would drive straight to shore so surfing the diagonal has been a learning curve.

I look forward to many great sets this summer.

So much fun!

These little boards are amazing! We bought a couple to bring with us to Hawaii and had a blast.. super easy to travel with, just fit right in my backpack. Made riding the waves so much fun and worked just as good as a full sized boogie board one of my friends had. Highly recommended. Can’t wait to try it out again!

Love my Bula!

I recently been spending a lot of time on the North Shore of Oahu, and there’s nothing better than the Bula for bigger more intense surf. Too much fun brah! Mahalo nui loa!
