UK Slyder Cup At Lusty Glaze - 3.0 Recap with Approaching Lines

The 2016 Slyder Cup presented by Reef took over Lusty Glaze beach on Sunday Nov. 27th in clean, lined offshore conditions.

The organizers, Approaching Lines, ensure the spirt of the event is all about Good Vibes, Good Rides and Good Times!

The annual gathering of the finless & fun joined together 50 bodysurfers, handboarders, paipos, bellyboards, surf mats, and alaia’s to spread the stoke and share a little friendly competition.

Slyde Handboards was stoked to have Pro-Ambassador Ben Schofield representing at this epic UK event.

Ben personally described the event below:

"My favorite moment of the day, was finally getting to put a lot of names to faces from people, that I had connected with online and being able to share waves with people that all had the same passion for Slyding.

The Slyder Cup is a 1 of kind event.  It's the only fin free event in the UK where people from all backgrounds can come together to show of their surf crafts,  of all shapes and sizes.  There's a final for each different craft, where they all meet in 1 grand finale to be crownded Slyder Cup Champion."
