We took out the Grom the other day and had a blast! Well made and better than other handplane's I've tried. We plan to buy more!
Way fun
Have only used this a few times but it is a huge improvement over my old hand gun. Well made, great planing. My daughter, who is small is rocking waves as well. Waiting for some bigger waves to really put it through its paces and curious to compare it to the other slyde boards, but very pleased so far. Was a little worried about the price, but I think worth the extra cost. Good solid product, well designed and lots of fun.
Slyde Grom works as advertised.

Handboard in Japan
I used Grom for 2 yeras and switched to Wedge. I prefer Wedge as controllability, but Grom accepts low wave and gives float, moreover affordable price.
There was no handboarder except me in last weekend in Shonan beach most busy in Japan and Handboard got huge attention of surfers and families. Why not introduce it in Japan market?
