Straight Outta Wompton Shreds in San Diego

The 2014 Straight Outta Wompton event did not disappoint last weekend. With gold chains, denim, flying squirrels and beards galore, bodysurfers took to the Wavehouse in Mission Beach, San Diego to get barreled. Competitors shamelessly shredded on an 8-foot standing wave for the ultimate glory to be crowned the Wompton Winner.

The three youngest bodysurfers in the competition (Dylan Delaney, Jonathan Foster, and Jonathan Hover) took home the titles of 1st, 2nd and 3rd place and their respective prizes: most awesome of which was the 3rd place prize of a custom designed Slyde Hexflex Bubblegum Handboard.
