July's HOT! Surfing & Summertime in North County San Diego

San Diego California is the epicenter of beautiful beaches, action sports, and active lifestyles.

North County San Diego, just 30 minutes north of downtown sets the bar for beach culture and events.  If you haven't checked out this area yet, towns like Cardiff by the Sea, Encinitas, Leucadia, and Oceanside, are the true definition of Southern California/ SoCal.

11th Annual Switchfoot Bro-Am & Rob Machado Bro Junior #SwitchfootBroAm2015

Founded in 2005 The Switchfoot Bro-Am surf contest and concert is an annual event, hosted by Encinitas locals and Grammy award winning rockband Switchfoot.  The event is dedicated to giving back to SD local community through music, surfing, and youth development programs.

Since its inception, the Bro-Am has raised more than $1,150,000 for San Diego-based children’s charities and created endless fun along the shoreline.  The event includes; free live music, countless vendors with goodies, and chilling with the who's who of the industry.

Friday- Sunday July 24th- 26th Oceanside, CA

8am-4pm Super Girl Pro  #SupergirlPro

Established in 2007 the event is THE largest female surf contest in America. 

More than 150 of the top girls in action sports, such as Steph Gilmore, Coco Ho, Carissa Moore, Bethany Hamilton, Courtney Conlogue, Alana Blanchard, Leticia Bufoni,  Jamie Anderson, Sarka Pancochova, Torah Bright and many more compete in a celebration of Female Strength, Independence and Empowerment.

As a lifestyle festival, Super Girl Pro; includes a village specially designed for killer live entertainment...music artists, dancers, fitness classes, inspirational speakers and autograph signings.
