StokeFest The Paipo Society

What do you call it when mixed bags of super-hyped ocean enthusiasts unite to ride waves and share smiles?
StokeFest, of course!

On Sunday, February 17th, The Paipo Society hosted StokeFest 2013 at Scripps Pier in La Jolla, California. A colorful group of paipo, alias, handboard/handplane, surf mat, and even caballitos de totora riders, joined forces to share fun alternatives to catching waves.

"It was nice to be in a non-competitive environment. Everyone was so helpful, friendly, and willing to share.  I'm still feeling the stoke," said first time StokeFest attendee Danielle Ferris.
