Welcome to the Team Thomas Burkett

I met Thomas at the Encinitas Surf Fair a few weekends back. We both had booths at the event.  I loved his work and asked if he would do some art on one of our boards. We also invited him to join our Art Syndikit. We love Thomas' ocean-inspired art.  It really speaks to us!  Check out more of his art here. 

Born and raised in South New Jersey, I moved to San Diego after completing university in 2008.  As a surfer, I love to paint anything involving the ocean and waves, but have painted a variety of subjects. I do a lot of custom oil paintings on canvas from photos, ideas or combinations of the two.  Painting boards is a different style for sure, and I try to bring in the sort of style I use in my oil paintings into the boards I paint as well.
