I bought both the Wedge and the Grom and they are both awesome !! The Grom allows you to learn with out the fear of getting trashed by a hard board. It’s great for newbies or kids. Jersey Shore Review

Purchased the Grom handboard during their 4th of July sample sale. I have used it a handful of times since then in a 3 -4' shore break at the Jersey shore, and so far have been happy with it. The item is well made, especially the hand strap. I also purchased the biceps strap as well, and it is also of high quality and very comfortable. I have noticed that I have been able to catch 1 or 2 waves that I would not have been able to ride if I did not have the board. It gives a different feeling, almost like riding above the wave, which is in tune with how much you push down on the board as you ride. Overall, I am happy with the board. It fits in a backpack with my fins, so its the easiest ride to get to and from the beach. ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐
