I was really skeptical at first. Long time surfer, swimmer, bodyboarder and sailor. I did not expect much but this is my third board from Slyde and it’s phenomenal! Takes off in even small waves and planes right across the face. So much fun. I am buying them as gifts for friends and family. Catch the wave and you will not regret it.⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐

High Performance Bodysurfing

I've taken this out a few times now at Honoli'i on 3-5ft days. Although not nearly as much speed as the Phish, this baby does exactly what I hoped it would - killer turns and edging. It's almost like bodysurfing without a plane because of it's profile, I really dig that. The Phish is huge in comparison; this thing looks dope. The advanced bodysurfing purist would probably want to start here for a feel most similar to not using a handplane. ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐

A great addition to our beach toys

Used my Grom for the first time on our vacation to the beach in South Carolina. While the waves were sometimes not big enough to bodysurf and we had to fall back on our boogie boards, on those days when we had good wave action the Grom was a blast. Easy for a beginner to use. Even some of our regular surfers opted for trying out the handboard. Looking forward to our next trip to the ocean! ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐
