New Slyde Artist: Lauren Callahan

Pennsylvania native Lauren Callahan joins the Slyde Art Syndicate and brings some awesome surfing, skateboarding and snowboarding-inspired art to the table.  

Callahan worked on murals, and she even illustrated a children's book before she finished high school.  She studied drawing, painting, ceramics, glassblowing and photography during her time at Tyler School of Art, part of Temple University.  She traveled abroad to study in Rome, Italy, and her time in Europe inspired much of her printmaking.  Callahan graduated in 2008 with a B.F.A in Printmaking and made the move to Southern California, where she continues to make amazing prints, drawings and art.  Visit Lauren's site for a look at all of her projects.
