2019 MAKAPU’U Bodysurfing Classic December 14 & 15 Oahu Hawaii

Makapuʻu is the extreme eastern end of the Island of Oʻahu in the Hawaiian Islands, with beautiful soft sand and strong waves of perfection for experienced bodysurfers.

The 2019 MAKAPU’U Bodysurfing Classic event marks a revival of one of the original bodysurfing events that used to run over 30yrs ago. Makapu’u Beach is one of fabled homes of Hawaiian Bodysurfing.

Divisions are as follows:
Open Men: 32 Max
Open Women: 8 Max
Open Handboard: 32 Max
Mini Boog: 16 Max
Under 18: 8 Max
