Surf Academy Handboard day

Today we went down to check out the Surf Academy kids shredding it on our handplanes.

Here is their blurb: “Surf Academy operates exclusive Surf CampsGroup Surf Lessons, and Private Surf Lessons in partnership with the cities of Santa Monica and Huntington Beach.”

Surf Academy Handboard dayThey are using our boards to help their kids develop awareness in the water without the danger of a larger board. The kids love the boards, and they allow them to get more familiar with the ocean and have as most of them told us, "a sick time! ". We are super stoked to be a part of their great setup!

Below are some images from today true to form after much prep getting down there. When we finally did, the GoPro was out of battery. Well done, Steve!  So it was waist-deep in water with a cell phone camera instead. So I apologize for the footage, but you will have to trust me that they where having a lot of fun!
