Paddler's Fun Event 1st Annual Poker Run

Looking for a fun day out on the water? Our good friends and stockists of our handboards, Action Water Sports,  are hosting an awesome day out with....get this…Poker and Paddle! If you are as perplexed as I was, this is what its all about.

We are excited to present the first Paddlers' Poker Run: a relaxed, fun, and casually competitive game of cards mixed with a day on the water!  It’s fun for all ages and ability levels, so bring friends and family that would like to paddle.  We will depart from Santa Monica Windjammers Yacht Club (SMWYC) the morning of the 22nd. All participants will visit, by board or boat, at least five checkpoints in the marina and draw a playing card at each one. The person with the best poker hand at the end of the run is the winner. The event has a time limit, however the participants are not timed—winning is purely a matter of chance. There will be lots of fun and prizes.
