Slyde Handboards recently teamed up with Ho Stevie to giveaway an epic prize package on Instagram, a gromboard and surf poncho, to keep you stoked long after the summer season has ended.

To enter the Instagram contest we asked users to tell us what & who made summer 2018 so epic, and received some share worthy responses.

@theonejefe Dude, I met an absolutely amazing girl in @cassie.gym. She makes me smile every day, and I’m trying to get her to surf, but she’s a lil afraid of sharks so what can you do? 😅🤷‍♂️ and @archisharun is such a slick jazz musician, and such an amazing dude and friend. He and I only got to hang a couple times but we always have great times together. And a bonus guy is @jack_mcclure cuz he’s just the absolute number one brotha from another mother.

@little.grom I had an awesome summer with these too, surfing all day then going and seeing a movie right after, super fun summer definitely one in the books and I got to meet Ho Stevie, and get shouted out in a vid and that was awesome!!
@jaredsartini and I have been hitting the northern Oregon surf hard this season on days off from guarding. The cold water always wakes you right up, especially when there's a dreamer coming your way! @nickgezon reminiscing and planning future Baja trips keeps me pushing through the days bro! Can't wait!
@emma26surfs with @cregenauer bc she would wake up at 4am with me to drive down to the beach with me just to watch me surf ;)
@mexican_bradpit Bro went surfing almost every week I was at my home and got to check out some beach’s on my trip I took on the east coast but there nothing compared to our beach’s. And went to do some cliff jumping near a bridge in Big Sur w the cousins.
