Bodysurfers Ocean Park Surf ContestSanta Monica has a rich history in surfingand skateboarding, and we expect 500 - 1000 supporters and spectators over the contest weekend.

If you have any questions about the event, be sure to get in contact with Kevin Osborne at oceanparksurfclub@gmail.com.

Kevin is the Ocean Park Surf Contest Director and can give you specifics on where, when, what and how, etc.

Also, you can get more information over on the event’s Facebook page here: http://www.facebook.com/oceanpark26.  Below are a few of the images from last year’s Ocean Park Surf Contest.  We will be down there to check it out, so be sure and come say hi! Last year’s comp was awesome and as you can see from the images, there was a bodysurfing event too.... sweeet!  If the waves play it right, it can be a great day of surfing down there and the spot is pretty much where the infamous Zboys used to surf through the broken-down Ocean Park Pier that was destroyed by fire.

Ocean Park Surf Contest 2013There is a ton of surf and skate history tied to this region, and you would be missing out if you stayed at home.  Last year, I got to meet one of my heroes and an all-time great, Jeff Ho. So get down there and support your local surf contest!
