If you know Arbor Collective, you're familiar with their quality "green" products and that they're often graced by the work of amazing artists.  The image above is courtesy of Arbor Collective artist Patrick Haemmerlein. Much like Slyde's Art Syndikit, those who have contributed to Arbor's apparel are featured on the Arbor site. We took a look through some of their individual portfolios and were very impressed! Enjoy!

We started Arbor in 1995 convinced that there was a need for brands willing to take responsibility for the impact their products have on the environment. For us, time spent riding had always provided a direct understanding of what’s at stake. We all need clean air to skate, clean water to surf, and snow to ride. For those of us who pursue boardsports, protecting the planet is about the environments we use everyday. It was becoming obvious that the boardsports industry, which relies on a healthy environment to succeed, needed to get more involved with protecting the planet.

Growing up in South Africa, Steve spent his youth dreaming of far off places. After spending eight years extensively traveling to many of the great surf destinations of the world getting dengue fever, having a near death experience from a falling coconut in mexico, Surviving a 15 foot drop on a handboard on a Nias bomb, jumping from every rock he could find without adequate health insurance. and comprehensively debunking the myth there are no waves in Thailand, even if they are small. He decided it was time for a a degree. Steve Graduated from Central Saint Martins School of Art and Design in London with a degree in product design. He missed his graduation to go surfing in Californian, found a kindred spirit with Venice and never left
