"For me, Its about head down and kick hard, perhaps dolphin diving under water to then surface onto the wave face. Feeling the momentum take over, your weight goes forward and you start planing on your hand board.
As you take that drop down the face of the of wave and take that fixed stare down the line of the wave you feel yourself in the pocket of the wave waiting, praying for that lip to throw over your head getting you barreled and coming out with the biggest stoke face. The other surfers in the line up glare at you wondering why your smiling, laughing and having so much fun. It's because your not hassling for waves and dropping in on other surfers."
