"I already am a Slyde Ambassador I just don't have the title yet. I own 3 Slydes and have purchased another one for a family friend as a birthday gift. In addition, I have written several user reviews on both Amazon and your website. Angela and I have even traded a few emails and pictures along the way. Enough with my credentials.

Here is the real reason I want to be an ambassador. I simply love body surfing and your product takes an already awesome experience and gives it just a little extra umph that makes it even more "awesome-er"! I grew up in Pittsburgh, PA but every summer my family would visit the Outer Banks of North Carolina.

My dad was never really into sports and didn't teach me how to swing a bat or shoot a basketball. BUT, he did teach me how to body surf and I loved it! We would body surf all day long every single day for a solid week. Then we would return to Pittsburgh and I would hold onto those memories until I got the chance the next summer to make new memories.

Now I am a 42 year old not very fit/athletic Dad. live in VA Beach, VA. Like my Dad I passed on my love for body surfing to my two boys. We go to the beach several times a week during the summer months. We usually go with our neighbors who are like family and we bring all 4 of the Slyde Handboards with us.

We ride, wipe out, laugh, and share experiences. We see who can catch the longest ride and each one of us claims to hold the title. My teenager boy and his friends let their guard down and focus on having fun and less on "being cool".

My youngest, who is 11, is fearless with his Slyde and and I can see the look in his eye that I had as a child -- he simply loves hanging out with his Dad and making memories.
